For this project I was tasked with figuring out the best way to incorporate more than 100 URIs that would be pointing to one of three separate templates that have already been built out and had strict folder structure. Each one of these URIs would be tracked through Google Analytic and Google Adwords so I could not do a simple redirect. What I wound up doing was creating PHP file that would hold an array of these URIs and their respective information – titles, URLs, etc. – and creating an .htaccess file that would do a silient redirect while keeping the URI intact.
Key Points
- (x)html/css
- .htaccess (clean urls)
- php
- GoodFuels
GoodFuels was one of very quick turn around projects; the client needs a design, theme, and certain features for there new WordPress blog. In the three days I had, I was able to come up with a decent, flexible design, a working WordPress theme based on that design and three separate plugins that suited their requirements.
- FSA Coach
The project was done while working for Information Experts, a company based out of Reston, VA.
The original FSA Coach site had thousands of pages of content with basic and not so basic interactions, my task for this project was to two fold, create over 10 interactions – dialog boxes, inline quizzes (textboxes, radio and checkbox), glossary terms, etc. – and create an easy what for the average user to manage these interactions.
With the help of jQuery, I create a few plugins that will help with the interactions, making them as flexible as possible to account for any number of possible situations. The management of these interactions were not so easy but was accomplished by using TinyMCE and its plugin model which basically functions as MS Word would, select what you want to have do something, select the interaction and your done.

Another psd to html conversion for the nclud gang. This one was pretty straight forward, some minor interaction include a “carousel” to click through the client’s projects and a few not so basic drop down menus.
Key Points
- (x)html/css
- drop down menus using jQuery/css
- Refresh Baltimore
This was a side-side project, as some may know I run the Refresh Baltimore meeting and this was redesign and development to give the group more options. The design itself was done by Javie Rios and created the theme.

nclud asked me to convert their awesome design in to a clean, fully functional WordPress theme. The site structure consisted of 11 or so static pages and a working blog. The also needed a easy to manage “we need” list that cycled through all other needed items and provided a link for the end user to get more information.
