WordPress Image Browser Extender
WordPress Image Browser Extender is a plugin that will your to easily browse your images that are already uploaded to your website, select all the ones you want to add to your post or page, the structure you would like to use and then it inserts all appropriate syntax.
Installation is the same as another plugin:
- Unzip into your `/wp-content/plugins/` directory. If you’re uploading it make sure to upload the top-level folder. Don’t just upload all the php files and put them in `/wp-content/plugins/`.
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Once on go to your editor and see that their is a new icon
- If the image does not show up right away you may need to go, via ftp, to wp-content/uploads/js_cache and then delete the file that is in that folder.
Once installed you will have an extra icon on your richtext editor on the first row, clicking on that icon will bring up the image browser. The browser will like:
The top row will be the possible structure that you will be able to insert in to your post. The next row will be your navigation between sets. And the final row will be where your image reside.
There are three options in selecting your images, one is to simply click on one, another is to hold down ctrl + click on multiple images and lastly you can click on one image, hold down your mouse and then drag to select all the images you want to use/select.
What is unique about this browser is that you can select a few, then browse to the next set of images while still keeping the images you’ve selected already.
Once you have grabbed all the images you want to use and select the size, structure and pattern, hit insert and you are good to go.
Not sure what other improvement can be made, but I am open to suggestions.

Final words and Support
This has been tested on IE7, FF2, Opera 9, and Safari 3 and since there is some JavaScript trickery going it may have issues in other browsers I have not tested. Please let me know if you have any JavaScript errors that are related to the edit page and I will try to get it fixed.
