Web 2.0 is not a design aesthetic

In my Stumbling, I came across a slide show that normally I would just stumbled over, but since I was just trying to kill time I decided to click through it. To my amazement it was very informative and I felt the need to propagate it’s message. Keep in mind that I am in not ways a designer, I am a coder trying to design and design well, so when I see something like this it makes me feel better about my point of view on what a site should look like.

The presentation certainly makes some good points. Mostly I like the slideshow presentation. That would kind of be a cool way to blog, every post as a slideshow.
